Groove heavy synth funk reminiscent of DMX Krew, and dreamy string-laden rhythms suggestive of standout tracks on Carl Craig’s “More Songs About Food And Revolutionary Art” occupy side A. The flip side is filled with deeper dance floor friendly tracks sonically reminiscent of the Transmat catalog along with an injection of uptempo tech-house swing elements evocative of Akufen’s “Skidoos.”

“More Than A Marathon” marks the debut release for SUPER PUBLIC. Predominantly recorded with analog hardware, the EP is an immediate classic - a must have for any techno enthusiast or DJ.

CHAMBRAY is proud to release the second pressing of "More Than a Marathon," which quickly sold out at international shops when originally self-released by Super Public in September 2011. The self-released original pressing has been featured in mixes by JTC (KillEKill Podcast #13), and selected by Juno Records in "Juno Recommends Electro" (October 2012).

Super Public are the duo of Rudi Thornburgh and Brett Cimbalik. Rudi lives in Albuquerque, NM, while Brett stays in Queens, NY. "More Than a Marathon" was recorded during Winter 2011 in Metro Detroit.
